マツコ「モー娘。と女子アナっておんなじってことよ。人によって違うと思うけど、あたし、今ちゃんとニュースを読みたいっていう高い志があるんだったら、普通に女子アナ試験受けて入ったって世の中はそうみないってことよ。要はさあ、金の掛からない小綺麗なタレントの代わりなわけよ、今そうなっちゃってるじゃない、どんどん流れが。だからさあ、むしろ記者あがりとか地方局あがりとかで、実力をつけた人で最後ご褒美としてニュースのアンカーがあるね、という形を日本もこれから確立していくべきだと思う。ちゃんと下積みを積んで実力をつけた人でしかストレートニュースは読めないよっていうそれ以外はな〜に、お天気、お天気だって今資格がないと読めないけどさ、いわゆるバラエティ番組のお飾りみたいなアシスタントだったりとか、そういうお仕事をするのが女子アナだという認識にもう世の中がなってきてるじゃない。東京MXはいいのよ、バラエティ番組のアシスタントなんてそういう華やかな仕事はないんだから。MXのアナウンサーはイコールニュースを読むというこういう田辺ちゃんみたいな不本意な仕事をさせられるパターンも多々出てはきましたけど」
